Now in its 52nd year, this top USA youth orchestra, reaturing talented young musicians aged between 15-18 yaers old, embarks on its 20th international tour and its first visit to the UK for 12 years. Two co-winners of the Orchestra's Concerto Competition showcase their talents in Mozart's heavenly Sinfonia Concertante (contrasting withthe Overture from his most 'diabolical' opera). The programme is completed by Stravinsky in lighter mood and Beethoven's fateful and ever-popular 5th Symphony.
